For a med-high speed and rev bowler, would you suggest a strong drilling or somewhat weaker with this ball?

I know for companies and staff, such as yourself, demonstrating new product is and for good reason, paramount, but for me (you know me and the balls I throw) and bowlers like me, someone who doesn’t buy ball too often (for cost or whatever reason), I think it is invaluable to demonstrate the usability and durability, of older and old-ish balls. I hope you can retest older balls like this one in the future. Also, your swing is looking quiet and simple.👍👊✌🖖
How often do you sand them. I find the 3000 grit by Ctd it makes the ball just right on fresh oil lanes

I have this ball but I use during transition where I bowl since fresh is heavily oiled. This ball won me 2 strike pots during transition.
This ball is probably going to be a permanent fixture in my bag. Still have the Reacta Gloss finish and pin over the bridge so it works great for me during transition and when the lanes are toast.
Do you prefer it over the iq tour solid?

I had an IQ Tour 30 years ago and bowled some of my best games with it. Let it sit for a while and decided I should put it back in my bag. It had cracked in half. 🙁
I have the IQ Tour Ruby now and the factory finish was terrible. I took a 1200 grit pad to it to get the polish off and then used Motive’s Gel Polish hoping that it would shine up nicely. It didn’t react like I though it should. Light hits, etc. Glad I watched your video today. I’m going to move left for sure and see if I can get to board 8 at the last marker on the lane…
Recently I bowled on a house shot that had really fast backends. My altered reality jumped sideways off the back. Went to the Ruby and it blended it really good. This really is a very versatile ball. You can hook the snot out of it or make it perform like a really nice control piece. But you have to break in the R2S cover just like a Hy-Road. (my experience)
I wasnt a fan of it originally, thought it was going to be a waste of money like the og Iq Tour, but I resurfaced it to 500 polished, and mab this hooks and is the daddy ball for me
Great video again mate. This ball is money. I also took it to 3000 and knocked the polish off cause it was just skidding a bit to far. Now it’s just awesome. I always have it with me and 90% it’s my go to ball.

I loved my IQ ruby unfortunately I decided to ball up to 14lbs when I got my summit. I’m tempted to get a Ruby in 14 but with my summit and my hyroad I’m not sure if it’s necessary.
Luis, that ball is Awsome. I study ball motion. When the Ball is rolling, focus on the bottom of the Bowling Ball.
You will see your Break Point, angle entry, and if the ball deflects to the right ( corner pin ) straight back ( highest strike % ) and hooking left to the pin deck ( only leave 9 ).
If there is a Ball made or can be drilled to not deflect after hitting the pocket, average 230+. Paul
