24 Comments on “SWAG | STORM STAFFER BOOTED FROM HQ! | NEW UGLY BALLS ANNOUNCED!! | CORES SPARKING???”

  1. I’ve only ever had lord field balls spark on me, and their cores are HARD and will dull your bits lol

  2. i think it’s always been their draw back , TOO wild. If they stuck with some mainstream colors and some solid branding they’d make alot more money.

  3. Morpheus Legend ball is the only one I had spark when I drilled and sanded thumb. Makes you jump for sure. I have drilled 7 Lord field, Legends and Swag balls some I like some I don’t, left Morpheus on ball rack at bowling alley only had 3 games on it.

  4. The black pearl anchor will literally be an anchor if it’s even good enough to get in our bags

  5. The Swag incredible phenom is a continuation of the incredible line. And as for the Black Pearl Anchor, as I mentioned before in another video, the Black Pearl line has been with California Bowling for a very long time. Think of it like the Rhino from Brunswick or the Phase series from storm. And who cares what a core looks like if it works?

  6. I’m not on any staff, however Brunswick is the company that I use for my balls (DV8 & Hammer). I use DV8 for my reactive, and Hammer for my two urethane balls. That being said, when I see another league bowler wearing a storm shirt/jersey I use that time to joke around with them. I’ll comment on how their average would go up at-least 15 pins if they had a real ball, or I’ll ask if they want to practice with a ball that actually hooks. I say those things as a joke, and the interaction is a joking setting. They throw shots back at me as well, especially about how the pitch black is better than my purple hammer. Back to the video, any serious bowler understands that people have their favorites. Rather it’s a league bowler that has a favorite brand, or a staffer who can only wear that brand. When things like this happen, all it does is make the non staffer want to avoid the brand instead of trying it. It’s a shirt. If it was a big deal, they could have asked him to put on none bowling shirt. The situation could have been handled way better

  7. I see the Roto Grip Attention Scarlet is also Reacta Gloss in the overseas market. Any chance that line is about to finally make a stateside release?

    1. Not likely. I’ve heard they’re slowing putting Reactagloss on overseas stuff so they can get rid of 1500 Polish all together.

  8. Swag has some of the best looking balls. Thier pearl lacks snap but the balls aren’t bad and have major shelf appeal.
My PSO did mention the cores were tough on my swag and big bowling

  9. As a 7-year California Bowling LLC / SWAG staffer and a second year PBA member, I can tell you unequivocally that this is the best gear I’ve ever rolled.

  10. Also, or headquarters are located in Witchita Falls, TX, hundreds of miles from San Antonio, so I’ll say right up front whomever said they had been thrown out is a flat out liar.

  11. The LaneMaster/legends brand of balls is better, imho. The 2” thick shells hit really hard. The ‘minus’ s that many of them give similar motions. Not sure why they are not pba certified.

    1. I picked up my Legends ball because of the thick shell. Thick shell balls match up well with my game. As for the PBA certification, it’s mainly a cost issue. Mo Pinel went through what’s involved in an interview a while back, and it’s several thousand dollars a year plus dozens of balls for testing. Unless you move a lot of balls as a result of the PBA certification, it’s probably not worth it.

  12. Ive never bowled with swag or any of the California balls, but ive damn sure seen some people score with em in tournament play and compete with the other brands. Depends on reaction for the shot not the look. I come to this channel for release updates, not distasteful slander. Thinking i might look somewhere else if this trend continues.
