    1. definitely not lane shine. Look at the lighting reflecting off the ball. Beef and Barnes said this will be the biggest ball in the storm catalog. Proton Big

    2. @Matt Williams 1000% polished, it also has a 2 3/4 val to pap as well as a 4.5 pin buffer… PIN DOWN, CORE DOMINANT. They knew the Super Nova would be too strong so they negated the cover in the front part of the lane with polish and val to pap distance. My Proton with 4k and lane shine cant make it 30 feet without standing up, no way the Super Nova with the same drilling as the Nova 5x5x2.5 would be able to make it to the end of the pattern.

  1. Have to take the coverstocks into consideration as well. NeX on Super is a lot more aggressive than R2X on og

  2. the NEX coverstock of the Super Nova is Storms strongest per their chart…. R2X is one of the weakest covers. No amount of surface will cover that gap. The question will be how long can the Super Nova be in play before burning up.

  3. Playing 5 boards further right with polish with the Super Nova. Completely different layouts too … Interesting

  4. Chad’s Super Nova was polished. Would love to see him throw on a sport pattern with OOB 2,000 Abralon
