Chris Beans breaks down the Storm Dark Code, a recently announced asymmetric pearl bowling ball from Storm Bowling! Full specs and commentary!

Storm video:

Edit: Cover is REX, not R2X as mentioned in video. REX is earlier than R2S, as was R2X, so functionally will be an upgrade as a cover.

  1. πŸ”₯πŸ”₯I’m pre ordering it next week I love my code zero and marvel pearl πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯

  2. I’m hoping they release a version of the dark code in the future wrapped in the NEX coverstock. I absolutely love the NEX coverstock! Thanks for the great video!

  3. I’m pretty sure the Dark Code and Marvel Pearl don’t have the same cover. The Dark Code has the new ReX (although it does look like a 2) coverstock which combines NeX with R2S.

  4. Tell me more about how the two coverstocks and how they differ from each other? Would one be better to take down to 3000 if needed?

  5. The cover on the dark code is not r2x – it is infact REX, an apparent blend of NEX and R2S – so the ball is not a marriage of the code black and the marvel pearl – the cover is will be much stronger than the one on the marvel pearl

    1. I’m aware, I read it wrong and updated the video description. Functionally it’s not that much different though.

  6. The coverstock is ReX, not R2X. The new ReX coverstock is a blend of R2S and NeX combined.
