Cool video talk tech bowling bowling ball storm journey bowling ball with nano technology in the bowling ball more strike and spare hitting power at time Bowlers rant Chris beans
It’s a hybrid 2 part TX 16 1 part pearl REX with F8 core
if true, wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow
Well I have heard it straight from Belmonte’s mouth he was using it recently at a Belmonte experience and one of questions was about the journey ball and that was his answer.
had to laugh when this accidentally got posted early on bowlersmart a couple weeks ago
That seems to happen a lot! It happened this summer with the Ebonite Emerge. BM just trying to keep us informed.
Love me some BM!
I noticed that in the 2023 PBA League Elias Cup – Play-in Round video on Bowling Planet’s channel, at minute 34:50 you can easily see the Journey logo on the ball he’s throwing. This gives another look at how it is down lane.
Link?
@Bowlers Rantyou can see it when he is standing at the ball return
Yup its there clear as day, looks amazing down lane
@Bowlers Rantjust type in the video and watch jason throw it
Great stuff Chris. Is it just me, or have the last 3 Belmo balls not been as popular as expected? I don’t think he, or many other pros, used the Fate, for example.
Fate is pretty good bro.
Fate is super good. Tons of people used it. A certain guy on tour who you might know shot 300 on tv using his ball. Fate was very popular
Wish they would have kept the pro motion core love that ball still use it wish they bring that back and remake another alpha crux
I didn’t like the spec cover but I do like the piston weight block
@Bowlers Rant much agreed the spec cover was a even a little to smooth for me
I heard that it’s the symmetric F8 core again but with updated TX-16 pearl
Interesting
I think the fate is probably the most consistent ball I have thrown, I havent bowled for a long period of time, but probably 2-3 times a week for the last 2 years. I own a phaze 4, fate, wolverine darkmoss, hustle royal navy, eternity, zen U and a purple hammer. I feel like the fate is my go to ball when I cant figure the lane out easily. It just seems to ignore conditions very well and produce the same over all motion im looking for
Nice
Not to say that it can’t or won’t happen, but I’m sure that most if not all asymmetric bowling balls are in the premier line. I do not think any ball manufacturers have had collaboration pieces as asymmetrics
Bingo
it is available already here in germany. i can later take a look at the box and tell you exactly what it is.
Yes please!
Alright i got it.

Only thing I don’t like about the Belmo line is that they seem to get discontinued pretty quick. Almost every other ball from spi released always lasts longer than them. It seems like he releases a new one every year now at this rate and every time he releases a new one they discontinue the other one out. Like the fate just got discontinued. That was a super good ball very dissapointing. But they most likely did that cause this journey is coming out soon. One of his balls the drive I think got discontinued after only 3 months. They just seem to go super quick. The fate didn’t even last a year
Signature stuff like that shouldn’t be around for very long. Scarcity is a thing
@Bowlers Rant I’m not saying it Shouldent be. Just saying I wish they were around longer cause they have been really good. I agree they Shouldent be around long because from a selling standpoint more people will buy them if they keep re releasing new ones. They want to make money and that’s how it’s done. But that doesent mean as a bowler I have to agree with it 😂. When a balls good I want them to stay around so I can keep getting new ones lol
Cool video Chris! I personally have not seen anyone throw a Belmo ball in league or local tournaments, but they look good when I see in on television once in a while.
An asym Belmo ball is an interesting proposition. However, with the new Virtual Energy Blackout I don’t see an immediate need for it. Belmo used the crap out of the Virtual Gravity Nano pearl. So I think the Blackout would be his go to asym pearl if he’s not using the eternity. Once the Blackout is retired I could see him getting a shot to fill the void it will leave in the lineup.
I can’t wait to throw the new Norm Duke ball. Oh….wait….. apparently Duke isn’t as deserving of a ball as Blo-mo. Guess Duke needs to work on his gag reflexes since it looks like Blo-mo doesn’t have any
The epic journey was the overseas version on the Epic Saga and came sanded. The 800 grit was a standard surface for Roto back then similar to 2000 or 3000 abralon now.
Pro Motion = 🐐
