Radical is very excited to announce a new addition to the Top Shelf lineup, the ZigZag. We used our new core development system (originally used to develop the Outer Limits and the new Katana line) to predict core motion and dial in specific desired performance characteristics. Using this new program and the best cover stock in the industry, HK22, we have created ZigZag.
The ZigZag has an RG of 2.50, a differential of .045, and an intermediate differential of .015. These core numbers and unique core shape combined with HK22 Hybrid create a strong down-lane motion. A unique characteristic of the ZigZag is its longer hook window; this is not typically seen in asymmetrical balls.
Our goal at Radical is to keep increasing the backend motion while maintaining continuation through the pins. The ZigZag has exceeded that goal. Combining this new core shape with the HK22 Hybrid and outstanding shelf appeal, The ZigZag is guaranteed to be a home run.

Thanks for sending me back to storm. Brunswick is making all new balls hk. Stupid mistake. So the core is now the only difference. Not smart. Suppose a guy that loves brunswick and all the companies under brunswick suddenly doesnt match up with any of the new balls with hk.. just my .02.. i respectfuly disagree with the direction you guys are going.
HK22 isn’t the base formula and they have actually been using hk22 variants in their equipment for a year before they started putting specifically hk22 added to the base formula of each individual ball. Not matching up has nothing to do with HK22 it was meant to keep the ball harness level up because they were ahead of the game making Pearl balls have more back end and even strong equipment like the brutal collision which is strong also doesn’t puke in the backends. It’s flipping the bowling world upside down but I repeat the base formulas for bowling balls are what they are only enhancing the continuous motion of any ball. Go back to storm they are a step behind and don’t have the edge on backend motion anymore. All the companies and balls to not find a ball motion that fits you is ridiculous. 😂

If it holds AoR longer, won’t speed-dominant players have difficulty with this ball? It would be more likely to skid past the breakpoint.
