  1. I got a Flight from a test drive event awhile ago. Love the ball, long and smooth and is always my starting piece.

  2. I don’t know why but for me most of the time the key of success is to drill high RG balls pin down and low RG balls pin up .

  3. What’s up Lou

  4. Hey MotivLou.

Nice video. The Flight looks lazy compared to the Shock; the Shock looks really
great off your hand. I’m partial to the Venom Shock Pearl… But the Fatal Venom
is on its way! 😉 Thx for sharing.

    1. Not odd at all !! Both balls have the same core!! So the Blitz will be much earlier and smoother than the Shock!!

    2. @MotivLou I don’t have the shock, but I struggle with getting the Blitz to turn the corner (unless I really get around the side of it). I thought both of those were supposed to be smooth/non angular balls though. Just for different volumes oil.

    3. @MotivLou my house is typically higher volume/bad back ends so I assumed lighter oil balls like Venoms wouldn’t be strong enough though.
The Fatal Venom might be too good to pass up on though…Alpha, Flash, Blitz, Fatal Venom should cover me for everything I bowl on.

  5. Lou, another great video as always!
I like the flight, but I always love the V.Shock plus have two of them pin up, pin down. My flight is above my left ring finger 70×4 1/2×30, and I have it polish so it gets throw the front as well as the V.Shock
    Great video Mr.Lou

  6. I get more out of my motiv Assassin than I do the flight. I thought you were more spot on with the V.Shock.
My ball to recommend to a friend new to the Motiv world I too would tell them to get the V.Shock.

    1. If this is going to be your first Motiv ball I would get the Shock and a Sniper for spares!! Good luck to you in league!!

  7. With having the forge fire (ball I start league with) and the new VIP (nasty ball I love it)…really thinking of the venom shock to add to my bag…this way I have a solid a Pearl and a hybrid in my arsenal…what are your thoughts??

    1. I wish I could but I dont have a VSP drilled. I do have a video that is dropping on sunday that is Shock vs Fatal which is a true venom shock pearl

  8. To me, this video just exemplifies why the Venom Shock has been around for so long. It’s a toss up between the Venom Shock and Jackal Ghost as to which is the best ball ever made by Motiv because of the way those 2 balls shape and how well they work on a variety of patterns.

    1. I agree totally !! For me it’s the Shock over the ghost only because the Shock sees way more lane time for me than the ghost. Both are in my top 6 ever !

  9. Hey Lou, great job with Motiv stuff!

Question for you. I love my Venom Shock, but can’t start league with it… too weak. I’m more speed dominant playing 8-12 at the arrows and want to pick the better Motiv to start with. Thinking either the Flight or OG Forge would give me what I’m looking for. Would like to keep similar feel to the Shock and stay symmetric. Which would you recommend?

    1. Okay so if you’re speed dominant I would HIGHLY recommend the Forge Flare! The Shock is a great step down from the Flare, especially if you’re speed dominant!
