  1. People like Norm Duke hit a target “board”.
Higher rev bowlers hit an area. Both may watch ball motion, it’s more important for a board player versus area player.
I’m stuck (right hand with thumb) playing three to nine boards consistently while being trampled and beaten by bowlers (no thumb) playing 15 to 25 boards inconsistently. 99% of the time I hit the pocket & I carry a strike 1% of the time. But these bowlers hit the pocket 1% of the time and carry strikes 99% of the time. I LOVE bowling but I’m getting very frustrated and upset about this CRAP.

    1. I feel your pain brother! I am a old school Full Roller. I must hit my board. There is no miss right 2 boards and get recovery.
Perhaps if the modern tech (resin) was taken out of the game, then even two handers and high rev bowlers would be forced back into an accuracy game and the stroker style of the past would dominate the sport again.

    2. @nordattack Yes, I’m 59, right hander, stroker to power stroker, 15lb ball, 16 mph.

  2. It’s so good to hear that missing the target is ok and normal. I have a hard time even looking at my target during my entire approach.
