    1. I look between the one and three pin if I’m playing inside and the bottom left of the three pin if I play on the 15 board

  1. Great Video as always!!! As a new 2 hander I just got one and threw my highest series (as a 2 hander). Highly recommend this ball. Any chance you guys do another video or two on arsenal construction, as a new two hander I am still getting used to the added revs and trying to figure out the best arsenal I can build for league and tournaments.

  2. Cool video talk to tech hammer purple hammer with dot technology dynamic core in the bowling ball more strike and spares ok Lane side review rob Johnson and Nick

  3. Even rarer, is that you should do a 3-way comparison, between the original Purple Pearl Urethane Hammer (out of Hopkinsville), the remake Purple Pearl Hammer, and the Black Widow Purple Pearl Urethane. That would be a way to compare all of the Pearl Urethanes released in the past 4 years (without obviously going back to the Faball lineup). Those three are beasts.

    1. @NoSkilljutsu Specifically, only Japan, so it was definitely an OEM ball, and not one in the main catalog. The Deal for it though is that you’d get the ability for control due to it being Purple Pearl, but you’d also get the widow core along with it. To date, it’s the best ball Hammer has ever had to not hit the US market.

  4. Oh I have so waited for you guys to review this ball! First I bowled with urethane back in it’s hay day. I was a Columbia 300 shiny black U Dot and a polished up Vector 2. Being a lefty I’m getting back into bowling and just have this phobia with reactive resin. So this will be very interesting to me. Thanks for all your reviews.

  5. I have the new Brunswick Purple and put the same layout on it as my original Hammer Purple and compared them.
    Night and day!
The Hammer Purple has amazing backend and continuation while the Brunswick Purple is pretty much a dud.
It rolls out and goes pretty straight and has little to no continuation or backend.
It is the most flat and straight ball I have ever thrown.
The Hammer Purple however snaps and allows one to go around the lane.
I have tried the Brunswick Purple from 500 grit all the way up to 8000 grit.
I have tried it on different house shots and in my Sport league.
Can’t find a way to get it to be effective.
I think what happened is Brunswick made the coverstock much stronger and more like a solid so this took away the backend pearl performance the Hammer Purple’s had.
I am not alone in this experience. There are other youtube reviewers who have experienced the same behavior.
The Brunswick Purple is not a bad ball of course, it is just not a good ball and definitely sits in the shadow of the Hammer Purple.

  6. Wayne and I have a similar ball speed, and angle to the pocket, i buy several balls a year, looks like I will be buying this one.
