I kinda agree the equipment is so advanced anymore that kids coming up today never really learn how adjust they just switch balled every other frame instead of reading the lanes and adjusting.
@Robert Combs … You still have to read the lanes no matter what ball you are using.! If anything, it gets more complicated to know what ball to use doing the course of the game.

that’s exactly what I’m talking about “which ball to use” walk in the house with one ball and make that ball work learn how to actually bowl and adjust and not just pick up the next ball. I see kids today walk in with 7,8,9 balls bowling on a house shot averaging 210 that’s called relying on the equipment. Limit them to 2-3 balls and they’d be lost because they have no idea how to actually take a ball and make it work. I’m 43 years old got two solids a pearl and a hybrid and can walk in any house on a house shot and average 210. Kids today don’t know how to bowl not trying to brag or sound like and old man but they just don’t.
How do you think this compares to the exotic Gem? I’m looking for a ball with similar backend as the exotic
